GARDEN, ART & CRAFT PROGRAM

The Garden Program commenced in 1988 and was made possible through the hard work of volunteers and grants from Community Services and the Department of Sport and Recreation.

The Program is currently funded by the Department of Human Services through the HACC program. The garden has flourished over the years and today the project includes art + craft activities. It has several raised garden beds designed to assist people unable to garden at ground level. We also have an air-conditioned activity room with disability access, built with funding from the Department of Human Services and the City of Knox as well as a large garden shed which was constructed by the Kiwanis Club of Knox.

- ART & CRAFT

Activity program, to foster creativity and independence. Includes mosaics, scrapbooking cooking and art

- OPPORTUNITIES

For people to interact socially and participate in an outdoor activity.
